Our most notable achievements have been: rewriting of the first "Plain English" motor vehicle insurance policy. establishment of a precedent in Family Law to abolish retrospective valuations. acquisition of mining leases in New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania and oversea, some requiring extensive joint venture agreements with major Australian and foreign companies and governments. redrafting constitutions for sporting bodies following the introduction of the Anti-Discrimination Act. One particular achievement, with which Bob has been proud to be associated, has been drafting and settling agreements between various foreign associations and an Australian Aviation museum to acquire a Locheed Super Constellation L1049, known affectionately as "Connie", which is now gracing the Australian skies. As aficionados will appreciate, this aircraft was the first aeroplane in the Qantas fleet to reduce the vast distances between Australia and the rest of the world to make travelling to Europe and North America practical and economical.
